Alia, Non-nuclear density meters

The technology used in the ADM makes it the only non-nuclear alternative for challenging slurry density applications where otherwise only nuclear works.

Non-Nuclear Density Meters Based on Dynamic Force Response

The working principle is based on Newton’s second law of motion (ΣF=m.a). The instrument’s excitation system exerts forces with known amplitudes and frequencies onto the full cross-section of the slurry, while a set of accelerometers measures its resulting response. Density fluctuations are easily tracked with high-speed accelerometers, with practically immediate response times, an important aspect in quick-acting process control systems. The mass can then be calculated, and, as the volume is known, the density can be extracted as well.

Robust and Accurate: The Next-Generation Slurry Density Meter

This simple and robust slurry density meter is manufactured under high quality standards and tested with a industry unique traceable factory wet calibration in The Netherlands. This ‘fit and forget’ slurry density meter gives a fast, bulk density measurement for all types and compositions of slurries. Although simple and robust in operation for the end user the ADM is a perfect example of high tech mechatronics.
